For over 40 years, Asleep at the Wheel has kept rolling along, dedicated to keeping western-swing, boogie, and roots music alive and kicking. Along the way they have earned nine Grammy awards, released more than 25 albums, and filled venues of all sizes. Frontman Ray Benson fell in love with western swing because of its unique combination of elements of American blues, swing, and traditional fiddling and calls it "jazz with a cowboy hat."
