Event Schedule

The Carmel-by-the-Sea Garden Club is hosting a day of shopping with two outstanding lectures, all in support of Carmel’s public gardens.  Proceeds from this event will be dedicated to the Founders Endowment Fund, created in 2007 to provide a permanent source of income to maintain Piccadilly Park, Harrison Memorial Library Garden and the North Del Mar Dunes native plant and dunes restoration. The second lecture of the day is by the exuberant floral designer Ron Morgan, who will be giving his talk "Timeless Elegance". Ron Morgan Biography

RON MORGAN’S career in floral design began at age ten, when he won his first flower show competition in San Joaquin County in California. Over the course of his extensive career, he has designed window displays for Harrods and David Jones, opened retail floral and antique shops, consulted as an interior designer, conducted flower arranging classes, and, most importantly, become a highly sought-after speaker at garden club events around the world. He now lives in Alameda, California, and devotes most of his creative energies to the garden club lecture circuit.
