CBTS Garden Club: "Timeless Treasures" Package

Two-Lecture Package

The Carmel-by-the-Sea Garden Club is hosting a day of shopping with two outstanding lectures, all in support of Carmel's public gardens.  Proceeds from this event will be dedicated to the Founders Endowment Fund, created in 2007 to provide a permanent source of income to maintain Piccadilly Park, Harrison Memorial Library Garden and the North Del Mar Dunes native plant and dunes restoration.  Please see the schedule below for a full list of events.You can also visit the Carmel-by-the-Sea Garden Club online by clicking HERE for more information.

Matthew Benson Biography

Matthew Benson's photography is in the permanent collection of the International Center of Photography, New York, as well as numerous private and gallery collections. His work has been awarded both DESI and Society of Publication Designers Awards and appears regularly in magazines, books, catalogs and folios. He is on the National Speakers Tour for the Garden Clubs of America, and lectures widely on Garden and Landscape Photography.

Magazine clients include House & Garden, Traditional Home, Better Homes & Gardens, Conde Nast Traveler, Esquire, GQ, This Old House, The New York Times, Garden Design, Country Home, Country Living, Country Gardens, Saveur, Martha Stewart Everyday Food, Martha Stewart Everyday Baking.

Raised and educated in Europe, with a Masters Degree from Columbia University, he is a trans-Atlantic sailor and certified alpine ski instructor. Architecture, Design, and biodynamic organic farming are ongoing interests, as is the restoration of Stonegate Farm (http://www.stonegatefarmNY.org ), the 1860s Carpenter Gothic farm he shares with his wife Heidi, and children Daisy Marlena and Miles.

Ron Morgan Biography

RON MORGAN'S career in floral design began at age ten, when he won his first flower show competition in San Joaquin County in California. Over the course of his extensive career, he has designed window displays for Harrods and David Jones, opened retail floral and antique shops, consulted as an interior designer, conducted flower arranging classes, and, most importantly, become a highly sought-after speaker at garden club events around the world. He now lives in Alameda, California, and devotes most of his creative energies to the garden club lecture circuit.
