Monterey Peninsula Voices: Sounds of the SeasonPresented by Monterey Peninsula Choral Society
Catch the spirit and exciting sounds of this festive chorus! "Sounds of the Season", the 51st annual holiday choral concert presented by Monterey Peninsula Voices, honors holiday traditions plus new music that will set the mood for the holiday season. There will be laughs with "She Goes Shopping for Gucci" and "The 12 Days After Christmas" as well as stirring and thought provoking music like "All My Heart, On This Night Rejoices!" by Z. Randall Stroop. The closing piece will be the stunning and exciting "Gloria" by John Rutter with brass choir and percussion. There is something for everyone to love! This exuberant 120-person chorus is made up of both amateur and professional singers directed by Sean Boulware. You’ll leave filled with the music and spirit we cherish this time of the year.
