Today's Four Freshmen ensemble is considered by many to be the greatest jazz vocal group of all time. The current quartet consists of highly educated, musically diverse young men who provide their own accompaniment. They not only preserve The Freshmen sound, they enhance it with their youth, vitality and talent, giving new treatments to the Great American Songbook. As the faces changed throughout the years, the integrity of the sound created by the original guys has been meticulously maintained. Die-hard fans and former members alike have agreed that the current lineup; Brian Echenberger, Curtis Calderon, Stein Malvey, and Bob Ferreira, are second to none. Whether accompanied by a big band, symphony orchestra, or self-contained; their youth, vitality, and talent adds a modern twist of elegance to a time-honored sound. 

Sunset Center's Annual Gala, Mood Indigo – Martinis, Manhattans & Memories begins at 5 p.m. at Sunset Center and includes the Sunset Presents performance of The Four Freshmen.
