Opening Night: $30 adults, $28 Students/Military/Seniors (with ID), $24 Child 12 and Under, $22 groups of 12 or more.

Nutcracker...The name conjures images of childhood memories.  Holiday gatherings, party dresses, presents under a tree and family.  The holidays are about families coming together to honor tradition and create memories.

Nutcracker...The story is told of a young girl, Clara, a jealous brother, Fritz, and Drosselmeyer, a magical doll maker.   Clara’s dream takes her into fierce battle with marauding rats and into a glorious land of Snow.  She is entertained by Spanish, Arabian and Chinese dancers in the Kingdom of the Sweets.  Awakened by the morning light, Clara’s memories of the beautiful Waltz of the Flowers and the Sugar Plum Fairy are enchanting.

Dance Kids of Monterey County presents their 19th Annual production of Nutcracker.  This year over 160 cast members, four year old to adults, will charm their way into the hearts of audience members. Nutcracker embodies all of the joy, excitement and magic of the holiday season!   A celebratory Gala precedes the captivating Tchaikovsky score on opening night.  The Sugar Plum Fairy Party on Sunday is an early sell out and not to be missed!
