SCC proudly announces the formation of the Producers' Guild -- an affiliate group focused on future programming at Sunset Center. The Producers' Guild has been created to act in concert with SCC to share the joys and risks of live-entertainment programming. We invite you to join our Producers' Guild and help Sunset Center continue to grow as the cultural heart of Carmel-by-the-Sea.

SCC is poised to launch exciting new programming at Sunset Center. The planned performances by world-class musicians and entertainers are expressly designed to expand our programming into new categories of live entertainment and, on occasion, allow us to team up with nonprofit groups in the local area to produce benefit shows at Sunset Center. To do this we need capital to underwrite risks and expenses. Accordingly, we plan to raise an Impresario Fund of at least $250,000 -- and do it in the next 18 months.

We are looking for 25 individuals and couples to step forward and become members of the Producers' Guild by making a one-time contribution of $10,000* to our Impresario Fund. Through this gift, you will be will be an integral part of our future, working in concert with SCC to identify, underwrite, and promote NEW programming at Sunset Center.

Producers' Guild members not only give, they receive special benefits, too. Just for starters, we envision an invitation for two to the annual Producers' Guild Round Table, an event held in Carmel which will include formal and informal discussions with the SCC Executive Director and members of the performing arts industry, along with entertainment by well-known performers.
