Education & Outreach Fund
The Education & Outreach Fund is Sunset Center's cornerstone initiative for youth education, arts access, and community engagement. This fund supports a broad range of free inclusive programs that remove barriers to the arts and bring high-quality cultural experiences to people of all ages throughout Monterey County.
Alongside the Sunset Presents performance series—featuring world-class artists and productions—Sunset Center is dedicated to making the performing arts accessible through fully subsidized education and outreach programs. These experiences are offered at no cost both on our campus and directly in the community: in schools, neighborhoods, and public spaces.
The Education & Outreach Fund supports four core areas:
- Youth Arts Education: Classroom Connections, Turnaround Arts, The Kennedy Center: Partners in Education
- Free & Discounted Tickets: Arts Access
- Visual Arts: Marjorie Evans Gallery
- Free Community Events: Terrace Hour, Wednesday Watch Party, Jazz at Lincoln Center Livestreams, Third Thursdays
Through the Education & Outreach Fund, Sunset Center ensures that the transformative power of the arts is shared widely—regardless of income, background, or zip code.
