Bequest

A bequest is the easiest and most meaningful way to provide for Sunset Center's future. A bequest is a gift made through your estate. It may be a specific dollar amount, a percentage of the estate, or a remainder after other distributions have been made.

Sample wording to make a general bequest in support of the Sunset Center is: 
SUNSET CULTURAL CENTER, INC.,  located at San Carlos Street at Ninth Avenue, P. O. Box 1950, Carmel CA 93921, is to receive the sum of $__________, or __________ (asset), or ____% of my Estate, to be used for its general purposes.

Charitable Gift Annuity

In exchange for cash or assets, a fixed sum of money is paid to the donor for the duration of the donor's life, after which the remainder is left to Sunset Center.

Charitable Remainder Trust

Transfer your assets into a trust, which pays income to you (or other designated beneficiaries) until the trust terminates and the remaining principal is left to benefit Sunset Center.

Life Insurance

Life insurance provides security for a growing family and support in times of need. It can also be used to make a gift to Sunset Center. Options include naming the center as the beneficiary of the death benefit or transferring ownership of an existing policy to Sunset Center.

Retirement Accounts

Naming Sunset Center as a beneficiary of an Individual Retirement Account or other qualified retirement plan is a simple way to include the Center in your estate plans. Distributions from retirement accounts made to 501(c)(3) charitable organizations are generally tax-free. Please consult your tax professional for advice about your situation.

Your bequest may be in any form, such as a sum of money, an asset, or an investment.
