On the Third Thursday of each month from April to October, Carmel-by-the-Sea Farmers Market hosts a free community party in Devendorf Park, on Mission Street and Ocean Avenue, in downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea. These events feature farmers' market vendors, live music sponsored by Sunset Center, food, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, and fun for the whole family! At this month's event, we're excited to bring you Monterey-based band of thirty years, Red Beans & Rice.

Red Beans & Rice blends original compositions and lesser-known classics into an up tempo danceable gumbo of New Orleans-influenced, blues-inspired party music. Featuring the talents of Gil Rubio on guitar and vocals, keyboardist Gary Thomas, bassist John Silva, drummer Chip Moreland; Neil Battaglia on saxes, and Daniel "T-Bone" Webb on Trombone and vocals, Red Beans & Rice is so much more than a tasty dish — it's a musical feast!
