Justine H.'s connection to Sunset Center began simply — with a concert.

That first visit eventually led to something more. Justine began volunteering with the Carmel Bach Festival, giving her an opportunity to experience Sunset Center not only as an audience member, but also as part of the community that helps bring performances to life.

Over the years, she has continued to return for performances, including shows presented by Carmel Presents.

For Justine, however, what makes Sunset Center special goes beyond what happens on stage.

"It's the people who make Sunset what it is, just like the rest of the town," she says.

From discovering Sunset through a concert to becoming a volunteer and returning as an audience member, Justine's story reflects the sense of community that has been part of Sunset Center for generations.
