I spent many hours working for my father, Cole Weston, in his darkroom in the bottom part of Sunset Center. He went to school there, and he also helped start the Center for Photographic Art, which used to be called the Friends of Photography. If I remember correctly, he managed Sunset Center for a while as well.
Sunset Center has transformed into a wonderful center with so many great community and music events. I love the music events, and of course the Center for Photographic Art is very special to me.
Happy centennial. My hope is that it continues on the same track, as an event center for our community.
